"I Love It..."

I love it when my students call me out on one of my catch-phrases.

Some of my phrases from the past include:
-- "He/she is precious!"
-- "I just love him/her."
-- "Ooof!"
-- "HIT IT!"

This week I heard the students snickering as one of them pointed out, "Ms. Schroeder, you always say, 'I love it."

"Really?", I asked. "Are you sure? I've never noticed that."

Three minutes later, I must have said something along the lines of, "I love that you all take such good care of my stuff." At this point I heard more snickering. "Ms. Schroeder, you just said it again!!"

AHA!!! I get it. It's not that I say, "I love it!" Apparently I have a tendency to start many of my phrases with, "I love that...." or "I love when you..." Apparently there is a lot that I love! Hopefully they have picked up on how much I really love THEM!!
